Organic saffron in strands. Legendary spice grown on our Clos Pons farms in L'Albagés, Lleida. Intense and clean aroma provides an exclusive one of a kind color to paellas, rice dishes, stews, soups and creams

Organic saffron grown among the olive trees of the Clos Pons estate in L'Albagés, south of Lleida. A red gold of the highest quality, totally natural and artisanal. During the dawns of the mornings of the months of October and November, the violet saffron flowers are collected, in order to obtain the maximum sensory richness of its 3 stigmas. To make each gram of saffron we require 250 flowers. It is an essential spice in paella cuisine, and also enhances rice, meat, seafood, soups, stews and creams.
